Rakim Hasheem Allen was an American rapper and singer known by the stage name PnB Rock.
He was born Germantown, Philadelphia to a Muslim family. His father was murdered whilst he was three(3) years old leaving his mother to raise him. At the age of 13 he was sent to a detention program as he was committing robberies and picking school fights. At the age of 19 he spent 33 months in prison for the possession of drugs, prompting him to never finish high school.

His first music debut mixtape was released on June 24, 2014, having written it whilst he was in jail. He signed his record deal with the Atlantic Records and his first project under the label was his 3rd RnB mixtape. 2016 he managed to release a single Selfish which toped number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100, October 2016, he released Rolling Stone, and he was listed on the list of 10 New Artists You Need to Know. In 2017, he released his second retail mixtape, and his debut album TrapStar Turnt Popstar was released in May 2019. In 2020 he released the single track Ordinary, followed by Rose Gold in 2021, February 2022, he released the mixtape SoundCloud Daze, and it featured various artists. His last release was on September 2, 2022, titled Luv Me Again.
Allen died at the age of 31 years in a fatal robbery, where he was shot dead. He saved his partner whom he was with by throwing her under a table. His murder was committed by a 17-year-old juvenile whose parents were also arrested for conspiracy to commit murder.
