She was also a member of the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra and the Riverside Symphony. In addition to her music career, Tindall was a producer, speaker, and journalist. She wrote for several publications which include The New York Times, Examiner, just to mention a few. She produced several documentaries and podcasts on a range of topics, including music, culture, and politics. Tindall was an educator, she taught journalism at Stanford and music at the University of California, Berkeley and Mills College.
