Throughout his career, he also received two Emmys, two Tonys, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild award, and a British Academy Film award. Following a devastating fall that resulted in a serious head injury, Plummer died at 91 years-old in his Weston, Connecticut home. He was survived by his loving wife, Elaine Taylor, and his cherished daughter, talented actress, Amanda Plummer.
