His role was set for 14 episodes but because he became a popular character, he was brought back as the white ranger and the new leader of the Power Rangers. The Power Rangers having transitioned to the Power Rangers Zero the ranger suits changed to match the change of the Super Sentai series hence his character became the Red Zero Ranger. Frank was later replaced by another character although he kept making appearances here and there for special episode and editions as the red ranger and sometimes played the Black Dino Ranger.
Frank had other works besides being a Power Ranger character, he played a role in Legend of the White Dragon and created his own blend of American Karate and got indicted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame. He was also a temporary Guinness World record holder for the most 1-inch pine boards broken during freewall. Frank was a Christian, his brother’s death prompted him to attend church. He was married to his first wife, and they had three children and had one daughter with his second wife. Frank's wife, Tammie, revealed that Frank had died by suicide.
