Stephen Patrick Mackey was an English musician and record producer best known as the bass guitarist for the alternative rock band Pulp. Mackey's career in music began when he played for band called Trolley Dog Shag who featured alongside Pulp in their 1987 album compilation. In 1988 he moved to London to pursue film making but before he made any films he joined Pulp in 1989 contributing to their third album Separations. He also took fashion photography and film-making projects for clients including Miu Miu, Giorgio Armani, Moncler and Saint Laurent.
