Romano Louis Mazzoli, the politician and lawyer from Kentucky was once US House of Representatives member and served for 24 years as the Chairman of the House of Representatives. Mazzoli was born in Louisville, and he graduated in 1950 from the St Xavier High School. He won the 1950 Kentucky boys high school doubles tennis championships, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1954 and graduated first class in Law School from the University of Louisville Law in 1960. Mazzolli was married to Hellen Dillion, they had two children together until her death in 2012. Mazzolli died on November 1, 2022, a day before his 90th birthday, at the age of 89 in his home in Louisville.
