Howard Benjamin Bragman was an American crisis manager, public relations practitioner, writer and lecturer best known as the PR guru who was called in to do damage control for celebrities in a negative spotlight particularly gay stars, athletes and others. After graduating he pursued a career in public relations and crisis management at Burson-Marsteller Public Relations. He rose through the ranks of the company eventually becoming its vice president. In 1989 he founded his own company called Bragman Nyman Cafarell, in 2018 he also founded LaBrea Media. On top of that he was an adjunct professor of public relations at the University of Southern California from 1998 to 2003. Bragman represented a lot of celebrities as a publicist, some of them include Sharon Osbourne, Anthony Scaramucci, Steven Slater, Stevie Wonder, Chaz Bono just to mention a few. In 2010 he became a became a news consultant for ABC News. He also made numerous television appearances on shows like The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and Today Show.
