Robert Edward Knievel II also known as Kaptain Robbie Knievel was an American motorcyclist and stunt performer. Knievel was born in Butte, Montana, to stuntman Robert "Evel" Knievel and at 4 years old he was jumping his bicycle and at 7 he had already learnt how to ride a motorcycle. He performed his first show at 8 years old with his father at Madison Square Garden. By the time he was 12 he was touring with his father performing in the pre-jump shows. Several of his jumps were televised like the Caesars Palace jump, the building-to-building jump in Las Vegas, a jump over a moving train, and the Grand Canyon jump. Knievel also made some television appearances in Hawaii Five 0 and Hollywood stunts. Knievel starred in the A&E TV series Knievel's Wild Ride. In 2017 a documentary was made about him titled Chasing Evel.
