    Kim Maiden Simmonds was a Welsh rock singer and musician known for being the founder, guitarist and songwriter for the band Savoy Brown. He led the band for over 50 years, performing and appearing on every album the band recorded. Simmonds was born in Caerphilly, Wales to Henry and Phyllis Simmonds.
