Mandla Maphumulo better known as Mampintsha was a South African musician and producer famously known for being the founder and member of the award winning group called Big Nuz. His group consisted of other two members Mashesha and Danger. Mampintsha was born and raised in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal, and in 2002 he and his friends created the group Big Nuz. After the group disbanded in 2015, Mampintsha pursued a solo career and released a solo album titled The Gentle Don which became a success. He started his label West Ink Records which signed his wife Babes Wodumo and Destruction Boyz and helped popularise Gqom music genre.
