Alberyt Pyun was an award winning an American film director who made low budget movies and direct to video action films. He started working in the film industry whilst he was in high school and then worked for several production houses in Honolulu. He edited commercials for agencies such as Bozell Jacobs and Leo Burnett and after working as an editor for several years, Pyun moved to Los Angeles to become a feature film editor. His film featured blended kickboxing and hybrid martial arts with science fiction and dystopic or post-apocalyptic themes which often included cyborgs. His art and work include the films like The Sword and the Sorcerer, Cyborg, the famous Captain America, and Nemesis. Pyun was awarded various awards in his career these included, the Golden Unicorn Award, Induction into the B-movie Hall of Fame, Lifetime Achievement Award, Ground breaker Award and the Indie Genre Spirit Award. He was married to his wife Cynthia Curnan who was also a producer.
