John Peter Wilkinson stage named Wilko Johnson was an English guitarist, singer, songwriter and actor. He got his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Newcastle University. After graduating he started playing with Dr Feelgood band which released 4 albums with their third album titled Stupidity reaching the number 1 in the UK album chats. He left the group in 1977. Later that very same year, Johnson created another group called Solid Senders. He left in 1980 joining The Blockheads, he continued to perform with different bands up to 2015. He also appeared in Game of thrones as Ser Ilyn Payne.
