Iuri Lapicus was a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter best known as ONE Lightweight World Title challenger and his all-around skill set, fan-friendly style, and elite finishing instincts. His most famous fight was when went he up against Zebaztian Kadestam for his last fight in August 2022, a fight he lost but elevated him as a fighter. Lapicus died after getting into a motorcycle accident in Italy, he was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Milan but he never regained consciousness until the time of his death, he leaves behind an impressive professional record.
