Eisenberg was born in Paris, France to a Jewish family that migrated to the United States when he was 7 years old. He attended Millburn High School where he played tennis and basketball and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 2016. Eisenberg attended Princeton and Oxford university, he was captain of the tennis teams for both universities.
